Amulet Day 81/100

Humorous English. This is not a ”political” statement; it is meant to be an example of the dozens of fabrics I imported from Japan with “crazy” English. The Japanese love to use foreign words on menus, advertisements, and clothing, etc., but they rarely ask a native speaker for spelling or grammar corrections. Look closely. It does not make sense. Border fabric is a #susanballfaeder original: red color way of “egg dots” from Summer’s Almost Over Collection produced by Free Spirit 2005. Tassel is the traditional red and white (the colors of Japan’s flag) combo used to adorn money gift envelopes for Japanese celebrations.
