Kumiko Sudo is a name that the quilt world is quite familiar with~ and many of us have been watching her work for over a decade, since the publication of her first book East Quilts West. With a special talent for applique and 3-D Japanese sculptural objects, she was the first to show us what to do with some of the beautiful Japanese fabrics sitting on our shelves.

Now she has designed a fabulous collection of fabric for us to enjoy, with watercolor imagery and a lovely, soft pastel palette. Decorated subtly with leaves and branches, honeycombs and bugs... the line is sweet and cheerful and just in time for summer. Note that the main piece is done in 10" squares, giving us a multitude of options.
