8" w. x 8" ht. Japanese and American commercial cottons; 1999. Hand-pieced, Hand- quilted, & Embroidered. I designed this kimono block with Linda Mason in 1992. Printed onto foundation muslin (which preceeded paper foundations) these little kimono blocks are great projects to take along when you are traveling - thus “ en route.” This particular piece was selected as part of a traveling exhibition called “Fine Focus” curated by Sandra Sider.
