Pre-Tour Package for QETJ #11:
This is a simple package which includes airport transfer, hotel and breakfast for three nights prior to the actual tour, for those who want to recoup from jet lag and explore a little of Tokyo “independently” for a few days, before the start of the tour. There are no scheduled activities. If interested, please request cost info on this package. Price will vary depending on single or double occupancy.
Day 1B: Nov. 3 (F)- Depart USA
Day 2B: Nov. 4 (Sa)- Arrive Tokyo. Transfer on own by airport limo bus directly to Hotel Grand Palace Tokyo for three nights lodging.
Day 3B: Nov. 5 (Su)- Breakfast. FREE DAY.
Day 4B: Nov. 6 (M)- Breakfast. FREE DAY.
Day 5B: Nov. 7 (T)- Breakfast. FREE DAY.
Post-Tour Package for QETJ #11:
There never seems to be enough time to see the sutumnal glory of Kyoto in a relaxed way. This time you can choose to "wind-down" the adventure at your own pace, by extending your trip an additional three nights at the end of the tour... and still arrive home in time for Thanksgiving dinner ! There are no activities scheduled. Lodging available at the New Miyako Hotel, or transfer to a Japanese Inn. If you are interested in this package, please request cost info. Price will vary depending on single or double occupancy.
Day 15: Nov. 19 (Su) - Breakfast. FREE DAY.
Day 16: Nov. 20 (M) - Breakfast. FREE DAY.
Day 17: Nov. 21 (T) - This is the day of the monthly Flea Market at Toji Temple, celebrating the birthday of its founder, Kobo Daishi. Rise early and view the market at dawn as the vendors are setting up. Return to the hotel for breakfast and a rest, then go for another round... or two. NOTE: No market in the case of rain.
Day 18: Nov. 22 (W) - Breakfast. Transfer to OSAKA INTERNATIONAL Airport via limo bus. Pick-up location near New Miyako Hotel. No assist.
